LENZE DC motor power range: 0.33 to 90.8 kW. With its square design, the MGFQx series achieves high power density while maintaining a compact overall size. These factors result in an impressive economic drive that can be easily and precisely adjusted using single and multi-quadrant DC speed controllers. Safe, quiet natural ventilation and correspondingly designed reversing provide ideal conditions for high power storage (e.g. in dynamic positioning applications). The MGFQU series of DC motor runs without compensation. The compensating windings of the MGFQK series also produce the correct current/torque ratio in the overcurrent range and prevent instability due to a weakened magnetic field. Dc motors with power ranges up to or beyond 90 kW can be used as modular systems with different protections, etc. Depending on the application, they can also be used in conjunction with matching transmissions, brakes and feedback systems.
